Merz Akademie approached us when their old website reached the end of its life-cycle. Having designed and developed their previous website, a lot of content-related work had already been done. However, their new requirement was a highly flexible tool that allows them to dynamically update the website and build custom layouts for various types of contents. Furthermore a complex taxonomy of interlinkable and fully searchable content-types had to be created to make the website scalable and future proof.
We developed a versatile page builder tool that allows for the creation of custom layouts within a well defined framework.
To meet the needs of a full-fledged archive, all content types can be related with each other. The site editors can interlink fields of study, people, events, dates, blog posts and projects to create a growing contextual repository.
